Hello, dear Henri. I'm sorry you didn't hear from me for a while, but I've been going through a rough time. I don't know if I should be telling you this, but I think you deserve to hear the truth. A few days ago I came home early after attending a charity party for the homeless. I stepped into the bedroom, and there I found my cousin Bobby in bed with my wife. Needless to say, I was shocked beyond belief. They tried to tell me nothing had happened between them, but I didn't believe them for a second. I'm not naive, you know. For all these years I've been carrying a snake at my bosom. I feel like a fool. I hope Bobby will burn in Hell for this! The family trip to Amsterdam is off, that's for sure! I'll see if I can make the trip on my own. I'll e-mail you in a few days when I get myself sorted out. I've come to regard you as a good friend, Henri.
