Navigation Bookmarklets

These bookmarklets are intended to enhance navigation.

To use a bookmarklet, simply click the link (or, if you use Explorer, drag it to another browser window).

To save the bookmarklet, add it to your favorites/bookmarks or drag the link to your desktop. If you use Explorer or Opera you can import all the bookmarklets in one easy operation.

Bookmarklet Works in frames Browser support
Last Modified
Shows the time the current page was last modified. If it's a frameset the date of the last modified page in the frameset is shown.

It will only work for static pages (their names usually end with .htm or .html). If the page is dynamically generated (as this page is) the resulting message will tell you. Some web servers may report the time stamp dynamically even though the page is static.

Leave Frameset
Breaks out of frames, making the main frame in a frameset fill the whole window. The bookmarklet can't know which frame is the main frame, so it uses the last frame found. This is usually the bottom right frame, but not in all cases.

Note: Iframes will cause the bookmarklet to display an error message (saying "Access is denied" or something like that).

Continuous Reload
Reloads the current page or frameset continuously at a specified interval. Similar to Opera's reload feature - almost. Mozilla will scroll to the same horizontal position on the page after reloading, but the other browsers will jump to the top of the page.

Note: The timer is still active after you open a link on the page (unless you open the link in a new window).
